Welcome friends. How nice of you to drop in. I’m a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a blogger, and as
my husband would say, a very frugal person. My husband and I are currently living a good life in the gorgeous
foothills near Red River Gorge. We give God thanks for this beautiful world he created and for blessing us in
countless ways. I’m never bored with being adventurous so bare with me as I blog along. I hope you follow me on this
new journey and find that we may touch your lives in some positive ways with the information I’m going to share
with you on how to earn and save money here at frugallivinggood.com
We at FrugalLivingGood.com are here to enrich your lives from our own experiences. Whether you are a young person just starting out or a senior needing a helping hand we hope to provide you with useful information that will help you get out of debt, stay out of debt, earn money, and save money.
Retirement is not the end of life but just the opposite, a new beginning. Now we have time to explore in any direction we wish to turn. For the first time in our lives we are almost debt free and worry free! There is no longer a have to do in our life but rather a want to do!
Don’t get me wrong here, we do have our financial ups and downs but we have been fortunate to find ways to work through those dark valleys. As I stated earlier we are both retired but the bottom line is our retirement “nest egg” generously covers our debts with some spare change left over for emergencies and wants.
Wants, what a powerful little word! I must drive my husband crazy with my constant “I want this, I want that”! Love his heart; I’m amazed he has put up with me all these years. But then again, don’t we all have our “I want” habits? Even my husband has “his wants” mostly electronic gadgets, not that he needs them but rather that he wants them. For example, the wireless talking box thing he wanted for Christmas. You ask it a question and it will usually answer you. Not always right but he loves it. Oh! I need to change the subject before I get jealous! Shall we move on to a very important question?
That question is, can you live on less than what you are spending monthly now? You probably answered a big “NO WAY”. I can tell you from experience that you can answer “Yes” to this question. If you’re single and heavy in debt but completely in control of your income then the following suggestions should go smoothly for you. However, if you are a couple and share the income as well as the debts then you must work hand in hand together to reach your goal of successfully getting out of debt, just follow the tips within Frugal Living Good.
